Booking Terms — Hotel Hamsa House
1. Scope
These terms govern hotel accommodation bookings made at Hotel Hamsa House directly through its website, its booking engine or the channels provided by the establishment. These terms apply exclusively to hotel accommodation. The units intended for Temporary Stays are subject to a different contractual arrangement and their own terms.

3. Booking
The booking will be formalised when the customer correctly completes the contracting process and receives the corresponding confirmation. Before the booking is completed, the main characteristics of the accommodation booked, the selected dates, the price, the payment terms and the cancellation policy corresponding to the chosen rate will be displayed. The customer is responsible for checking that the information entered is correct.
4. Booking engine
Direct bookings made through the website are technologically managed using the Hotelgest booking engine. Use of the engine may involve processing the data necessary to handle the booking and, where applicable, make the payment or provide a guarantee for it. Bookings made through external platforms will also be subject to the specific terms accepted by the customer on those platforms.
5. Prices
All prices will be expressed in euros (€). The applicable rate will be the one indicated during the booking process. Before the contract is concluded, the customer will be informed of the total price and of the taxes and items included or payable separately. Tourist tax will be applied in accordance with the regulations in force in Catalonia and Barcelona on the date of the stay.
6. Payment and guarantee
Depending on the selected rate, Hamsa House may require a bank card as a guarantee, full or partial advance payment, or payment at the establishment. The specific terms will be displayed to the customer before the booking is confirmed.
7. Cancellations and modifications
Cancellation and modification terms will depend on the selected rate. The customer must consult the specific terms displayed before completing the booking, which will also appear in the corresponding confirmation. Rates expressly identified as non-refundable may not allow cancellation, modification or refunds under the terms indicated and accepted during the contracting process.
8. No-show
If the customer does not arrive without having cancelled in accordance with the terms of the booked rate, Hamsa House may apply the charges established in that rate.
9. Check-in and check-out times
Check-in: from 15:00. Check-out: by 11:00. Reception operates daily from 07:00 to 23:00. Between 23:00 and 07:00, the establishment provides a security service. Customers expecting to arrive outside normal reception hours must notify the establishment in advance to receive the corresponding instructions.
10. Guest identification and registration
In accordance with the regulations in force on public security and guest registration, Hamsa House must request from guests the data and documents necessary to comply with legal registration and reporting obligations to the competent authorities. Guests must provide truthful information and present or provide the documentation necessary to verify their identity. Refusal to provide legally required information may prevent the service from being provided where the establishment cannot comply with its legal obligations.
11. Room capacity
Each room has a specified maximum capacity. The maximum number of occupants indicated in the booking or permitted for the room type booked must not be exceeded. Guests must be properly identified in accordance with applicable regulations.
12. Pets
Pets are not allowed at Hamsa House.
13. Non-smoking policy
Smoking is not permitted in the rooms or in any indoor area of the building. Smoking is only permitted on the terrace expressly designated for this purpose, with the establishment’s rules on considerate conduct and safety being observed at all times.
14. Breakfast
Hamsa House does not provide breakfast within its own establishment. Guests may have access to breakfast at Hotel California, another nearby establishment in the group. The service will be subject to the opening times, availability, rates and terms in force at any given time.
15. Gym
Hamsa House guests may have access to the gym at Hotel California, subject to the service’s terms, opening times, capacity and availability. Reception will provide the necessary information about its use.
16. Rules on considerate conduct
To preserve the rest, safety and comfort of all guests, respectful behaviour must be maintained both in the rooms and in communal areas.
Specific rules on considerate conduct
- causing serious or repeated disturbance to other guests;
- holding parties or gatherings that disrupt considerate conduct;
- exceeding the maximum room capacity;
- allowing undeclared persons to stay where this is contrary to the establishment’s rules;
- smoking outside the specifically designated area;
- tampering with installations or safety devices;
- carrying out unlawful activities;
- causing damage to rooms, furniture or facilities.
17. Damage
Guests shall be liable for damage attributable to them that exceeds wear and tear resulting from normal use of the accommodation. Hamsa House may claim the corresponding amount for duly substantiated damage in accordance with applicable legislation.
18. External services or services provided at other establishments
Where Hamsa House facilitates access to services physically provided at other establishments in the group, such as breakfast or the gym at Hotel California, the customer will be informed of the specific applicable terms. Availability may be subject to opening times, capacity, maintenance or other operational circumstances.
19. Data protection
Personal data provided to make and manage the booking will be processed by ROYAL PLAZA BARCELONA, S.L. in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Certain data must be processed and reported to the competent authorities in compliance with legal obligations relating to guest registration and public security.

21. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts and tribunals with jurisdiction under the applicable regulations. Where the customer qualifies as a consumer or user, the jurisdiction to which they are legally entitled shall be respected in all cases.
